KulturCentrale opens its doors on 23 September as part of the Neustadt Art Festival and the Dresden Contemporary Art Tour DCA~OPEN.

12:00 – 02:00 FACES – Exhibition by Ric Uhlmann It was only four years ago that the young Dresden artist discovered drawing with pencil and charcoal. Far from classical art training, his journey as an artist began with a simple visit to a stationery shop. An impulse led him to buy a pencil and a sketchpad – the fascination for faces and their manifold possibilities of expression formed him as a portrait draughtsman. For Ric Uhlmann, every person is unique and diverse. This is what he wants to reflect in his drawings and with his very personal artistic style.

14:00 – 22:00 Art market On the occasion of the Neustadt Art Festival and DCA~OPEN, an art market will be held in front of the KulturCentrale on 23 September from 14:00 to 18:00: Arts and crafts by local artists will be on offer: Prints, photos, postcards, portrait drawings, jewellery and much more.
